During my stay at the lodge, I appreciated the serene environment and beautiful lobby. However, the room was quite dated and had some issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The location is fantastic for outdoor activities, but the service and dining options were lacking. Overall, it was an acceptable experience, but definitely needs some improvements.

While the hotel looks appealing from the outside, my experience inside was quite disappointing. The room we stayed in was not well-maintained, with various issues affecting comfort. However, there were some positives like the dining options and the gift shop in the village. Overall, it felt like there might be better rooms available, but mine certainly did not meet expectations.

Unit 500 was in poor condition, with stains on the carpet, rips in furniture, and lack of airflow. It didn't feel clean enough for my family.

We had an excellent stay at the lodge, which offered a spacious and well-equipped condo that was perfect for our 3-night retreat. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Town Center and the beautiful trails for hiking. While the amenities in our room were generally good, we did find the TV a bit small for our taste. Overall, I would highly recommend it, but a few minor improvements in maintenance could enhance the experience even more.

Golden Eagle is a great choice for a ski getaway, with very nice condominiums and a fantastic location near the lifts and the town square. The booking process for rooms and lift tickets was easy. However, the common areas are a bit dated, and some amenities could use better management, especially regarding shuttle information and pool supervision, which impacted our experience.

Rooms

Our unit was very nice and spacious, perfect for a ski trip, but the common areas felt worn and dated.
Service
6.0
While the reception was friendly, the staff should improve on providing accurate shuttle information, as it caused inconvenience during our stay.

The pool and hot tubs are nice, but the environment was challenging due to unsupervised children. The locker room facilities were recently redone and very nice.

I had a wonderful stay at Golden Eagle Lodge! The staff is incredibly respectful and warm, especially during the Special Olympics Winter Games, where their support shines. The views from every room are absolutely breathtaking, adding to the overall charm. However, I did hear some complaints about certain units not being as clean or well-maintained, so that’s worth noting. Overall, it's a beautiful place to visit.
